A Server plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during events. Their primary function is to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and attended to, following event specifications and service standards. From the setup of banquet spaces to the seamless execution of meal service, they maintain an acute focus on detail and hospitality.

Servers work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely delivery of courses, adapt to guest needs in real time, and uphold the ambiance and quality of the event. Beyond serving, Servers contribute to the overall success of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the service. They reset spaces for subsequent events and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately.

Whether it's a formal gala, a corporate event, or a wedding reception, this applies. Servers are integral in creating a positive impression of the venue and event host, embodying professionalism, efficiency, and a guest-focused attitude.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $21.30 and is tip eligible.

McCaw Hall is the home for Seattle Opera and Pacific Northwest Ballet performances as well as comedians, lectures, and musicians. McCaw Hall is part of the Seattle Center campus.

• Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
• Provides quick, attentive, friendly, and professional service to banquet guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers.
• Ensures that food items are served at the proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
• Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items, with no spill-over.
• Pre-bus tables and fully bus tables when necessary during peak periods.
• Maintains availability to work during many peak periods.
• Stock beverage station(s) when necessary (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc).
• Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests.
• Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
• Communicates with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination so that patrons may be impressed by their dining experience.
• Builds and maintains knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered.

• Minimum of 6 months working in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment is preferred.
