Store Manager; U Village

Location: University Village, Seattle
Reports to: Operations Director / Owner
Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $70k-90k per year, depending on experience

Our new University Village location will be opening soon and we are looking for our team leader. We are seeking a Full Time Store Manager whose primary goal will be to ensure an exceptional customer experience, for every customer on every visit.

You will do this by

• Building and maintaining a strong retail team. Hiring, training and ongoing supervision, development, coaching, discipline and recognition of your staff. Ensure adequate scheduling through all seasons.
• Maintaining accurate and consistent inventory. Ensure all products are received properly and in a timely manner. Work with the buying team to maintain product life cycles, markdown schedules and a full inventory.
• Knowing the product. Maintain current knowledge of all products, ensure staff has up to date training and information regarding all products and promotions.
• Telling the Simply Seattle story through visual merchandising - ensure a great customer experience throughout the store with exciting and engaging displays, cleanliness and product flow.
• Always striving to meet and exceed performance and operational goals.

• Customer Service Driven – enjoy working with the public and your team to create an extraordinary customer service experience.
• Formal retail, cash management and supervisory experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator.
• Self‑motivated, hard working, good listener who isn't afraid to take initiative.
• Open availability to meet busy retail needs, including weekends, nights and holidays as needed.
• Able to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
