Now Hiring: FT Retail Sales Associate

Starting Pay Rate: $21.30/hr

Schedule: Must have open availability including weekends!

• Required to work in freezers and coolers
• Frequent heavy lifting

• Front End:

  Ensure all customers have an impeccable CHEF’S STORE experience by developing and maximizing relationships with the store’s customers. Employ tools and skills learned in the CHEF’S STORE Way training and model the behavior in the store.

  Perform sales and cash functions in the POS efficiently and accurately: scanning merchandise, weighing product, and handling discrepancies.

  Conduct cart-to-cart transfer at checkout, perform receipt checks, and assist with front-end opening/closing duties.

• Sales Floor and Stocking:

  Focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage. Aid customers in locating products and inform them of services.

  Receive inventory shipments, stock shelves orderly, ensure rotation, and label merchandise correctly.

  Replenish floor daily, enforce FIFO, and utilize equipment for movement of product.

  Use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and proprietary software as needed.

  Assist with price changes and inventory cycle counts.

• Customer Courtesy:

  Maintain a safe, clean environment following safety policies. Clean sales floor, front end, restrooms, parking lot, etc.

  Collect and return carts from parking lot and corrals. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Other Duties:

  Additional responsibilities may be assigned by Store Management.

• Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Basic computer skills, cash handling experience, and proficiency using general office equipment.
• Strong customer service orientation, common sense, logical thinking, and basic math aptitude.
• Motivation, self‑drive, ability to multi‑task, prioritize and work independently or within a team.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
