We are seeking a high-energy, food-focused Store Manager to join our Beecher’s Handmade Cheese team in the Pike Place Market. This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about mentorship, developing talent, and building strong teams, while also driving operational excellence in a fast-paced retail food environment.

  • Hire, train, coach, and inspire team members, fostering a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture

  • Ensure company training programs are fully utilized and that supervisors are equipped to effectively train and develop their teams
  • Analyze performance and make thoughtful recommendations related to product mix, merchandising, and operational improvements
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a high-quality retail food or restaurant environment
  • 3+ years of management experience in restaurant or retail operations
  • Demonstrated success mentoring team members and developing internal talent into leadership roles
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of leading in a retail environment
  • Computer literacy to operate retail POS systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass all required security background checks
  • Must acquire a Washington State Food Handler’s Permit upon hire
  • Ensure company training programs are utilized by team members and supervisors

The starting salary range for this position is between $80,000 - $92,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance premiums, along with 15 days paid time-off, 9 paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan with a company match. Employees enjoy a 35% employee discount at Sugar Mountain locations.

Aimed at educating people about the prevalence of food additives and their possible health risks, the Foundation is about giving people the tools they need to make healthy eating choices for life.

We are committed to fostering a workplace where individuals of all cultures, genders, ages, sexual orientations, and abilities feel valued, respected, and empowered. Our goal is to build a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve and creates an environment where everyone belongs.
