Role OverviewCashiers play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experience. The primary responsibilities include operating and managing the front counter point-of-sale (POS) system while ensuring a smooth pleasant shopping experience for every customer.
Primary Duties- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming andassistingcustomers during entry and exit, ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Direction of sales associates using the PA system
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Recommend products and suggest add-on sales
- Cash-handling and bagging of purchased merchandise
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
- Performs or may performadditionalduties as assigned by management and supervision
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Mustpossessbasic organizational and/or applicable math skills
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus
- Upon accepting a position offered, candidate will be subject to E-Verify
