Position

Full‑Time Retail Stock Associate (Lakewood, WA)

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality customer service, including assistance with purchases, suggestive selling, and product information.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of store products and pricing.
  • Operate the sales machine and cash register accurately, returning appropriate change.
  • Keep the store neat and organized, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning.
  • Prepare and maintain attractive product displays on the sales floor.
  • Report any theft or suspicious activity to management immediately.
  • Assist with stock levels and inventory management.
  • Remove sold product from the sales floor and prepare it for customer pickup and delivery.
  • Pull product for delivery or pick‑up and move items to staging areas for loading.
  • Assemble or disassemble furniture as directed by store management.
  • Use proper material handling procedures to prevent injury or product damage.
  • Maintain restrooms and interior/exterior common areas as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • English required;
    Spanish language skills preferred (verbal and written).
  • Experience preferred but not mandatory; training available.
  • Good oral, written, and reading communication skills.
  • Customer service oriented and excels in customer relations.
  • Demonstrates professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Available to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Perform simple tasks, rational thinking, and numerical calculations.
  • Rearrange furniture and merchandise on the sales floor.
