Position:
Sales Clerk

• Welcome customers, maintain product knowledge, and assist with merchandise selection.
• Operate cash register handling cash, checks, credit/debit cards, gift cards, give change accurately.
• Record sales, balance till, and turn in sales records and money at shift end.
• Perform periodic stock counts, replenish stock, maintain merchandise in neat condition.
• Execute price changes, markdowns/markups, set promotions, display signage, update item labels.
• Follow loss prevention policies, be aware of shrink and Alert Line.
• Adhere to safety standards and emergency preparedness.
• Work weekends as required.
• Complete related duties as assigned.

• High school coursework, GED, or high school diploma demonstrating ability to read, comprehend, and explain product literature, and basic math skills.
• Physical ability to lift 10 pounds routinely and 25 pounds occasionally, and stand for extended periods.
• Preferred:
  Previous retail merchandising or cashier experience.
