We're officially recruiting for our new retail location opening in Seattle this April. We're looking for people who want to be part of building something from the ground up. This is a chance to shape the experience of a new Snow Peak space in a city where the outdoors is woven into everyday life.
PurposeThe Retail Associate provides our customers with a unique, customer first shopping experience. This position is a brand ambassador, responsible for generating sales by proactively engaging and connecting with our customers.

Schedule : 20-30 hrs, Holiday and Weekend availability required
- Create an elevated, upbeat, welcoming experience for customers
- Drive and increase sales by connecting with customers and asking open-ended questions to assess needs and make relevant merchandise suggestions
- Speak with knowledge and confidence to customers about materials, styles, fit, fabrics, price and trends in the outdoor and fashion industry
- Strengthen our brand presence by encouraging customers to engage with social networking sites and email list
- Educate customers on brand history, products, offers, promotions, and events
- Process customer transactions efficiently with excellent point-of-sale/cash-handling accuracy
- Answer questions via phone or email, including notifying customers promptly regarding restocked product and special orders
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, fitting rooms, window displays, cash-wrap areas, and back of house
- Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently including: shipment processing, back stock replenishment, inventory counts, loss prevention
- Communicate with internal teams and upper management, relaying special order requests, customer concerns, product issues, or sales/event opportunities to the proper team member
- Ensure that health, safety, and security rules are followed

ExperiencePrevious experience in retail with cash handling
