Job Description

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You'll make the customer experience quick, easy and fun while helping customers uncover the great deals they're looking for.

• Sales & Cashier: create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and taking them to their fitting rooms, sorting and returning clothing to the floor, motivating others to adopt initiatives such as our Nordstrom Rewards program, keeping the stockrooms organized and completing all inventory processes, ensuring the sale's floor stays "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day, assisting customers with transactions, demonstrating expertise in all technologies used in the store environment, and defusing customer situations and providing resolutions in a timely and effective manner.
• Stock Support & Fulfillment: receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments, fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards, prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards, utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments, assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms, and provide general support to the store (e.g., setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, relocating store fixtures).

• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds (Stock Support or Fulfillment role).

$21.80 - $22.70 Hourly. This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
