Overview
The ideal Allocator is analytical, motivated and results‑oriented. This role supports operating in the allocation space (e.g. Item Intent, Tableau & Looker Reporting, MS Office Suite, Blue Yonder Allocation and Claude).
Responsibilities- Provide Blue Yonder allocation support for full‑price and off‑price businesses.
- Execute buys in Blue Yonder Allocation based on merchant vision of orders and reorders.
- Develop allocation strategy and proactively identify opportunities to ensure efficient and accurate allocations.
- Act as subject‑matter expert within the inventory deployment suite and continue to develop proficiency.
- Develop an understanding of customer needs, wants and expectations.
- Demonstrate ability to style flex based on audience and show flexibility to support the business amidst changing priorities.
- Contribute to waste reduction and continuous improvement efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in merchandising or related field preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in retail merchandise planning, inventory management or equivalent.
- Exceptional customer service skills, professionalism, ownership and initiative.
- Commitment to teamwork through collaboration and positive, proactive communication.
- Productivity using time efficiently and effectively to deliver results.
- Ability to handle all responsibilities in a solution‑focused and timely manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, continuously evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment.
$80,000.00 – $ annually. Pay offers are dependent on location, and on job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. Pay ranges may vary for different locations.
