In one sentence:
Own the complete sales cycle - from prospecting (off-season) to appointment to estimate to close - and build a book of business that generates repeat and referral revenue.
- Summer (Peak Season - April to September):
- Our appointment setting team books 8-10+ qualified appointments per week on your calendar
- You focus on conducting excellent site visits, creating estimates, and closing deals
- Inbound lead volume is high - you're maximizing conversions during busy season
- ~50-55 hours/week with some evening appointments to accommodate client schedules
- Winter (Off-Season - October to March):
- Marketing-generated appointments drop to 4-6 per week
- You're expected to self-prospect and fill your own calendar through outreach
- Build your book of business through networking, past client follow-up, commercial prospecting
- Door hanging, drop-ins, referral cultivation, strategic partnerships
- ~40-45 hours/week with more time for prospecting and relationship-building
- Prospecting (off-season):
Generate your own appointments through cold outreach, warm referrals, networking, and business development - Site Visits:
Meet clients at residential homes or commercial properties, walk the job, take measurements, understand needs - Presenting:
Deliver estimates professionally and handle objections confidently - Following Up:
Systematic follow-up to move opportunities forward and close deals - Closing:
Convert prospects into signed contracts and happy customers - Relationship Building:
Turn customers into repeat clients and referral sources
- Close 35-45% of your appointments (realistic target for quality painting sales)
- Hit your quarterly revenue targets through a mix of marketing leads and self-generated opportunities
- Build a healthy, active pipeline you're advancing every week
- Generate 10-20%+ of your annual revenue through self-prospecting efforts
- Create delighted customers who hire us again and refer others
- Financial security while you ramp up and during seasonal cycles
- Covers gas and vehicle costs for appointments
- Performance-Based Commission Volume bonuses and profit margin bonuses increase with your results.
- Total Compensation Potential:
- Year 1: $95,000-$110,000 (realistic for solid performance)
- Year 2: $115,000-$125,000 (with full ramp-up)
- Year 3+: $130,000-$160,000+ (top performers selling $2M-3M annually)
