We’re looking for an Account Executive, Enterprise Sales to help us develop and close new business with Hootsuite customers within our landmark industries. You will work in a fast paced sales environment selling Hootsuite solutions to prospective customers. Fully remote‑first role; open to Canada & U.S. applicants. Reports to Manager, Enterprise Sales.

What You’ll Do
  • Successfully acquire new enterprise sized business customers within our landmark industries to achieve quota; also prospect and generate outbound leads.
  • Navigate full sales cycle from value creation to negotiation and closing; present solution value to senior‑level customers and build trust with C‑suite and executives.
  • Take ownership of quarterly target by crafting & executing strategy to generate & develop net new sales pipeline; forecast sales activity & revenue accurately.
  • Proactively seek market & industry insights to build rapport; recommend relevant solutions from Hootsuite product mix.
  • Deliver product presentations & demos; complete RFI/RFP and other supplier technical requirement documents.
  • Partner with pre‑ and post‑sales teams to navigate roadblocks and objections, ensuring customer success.
  • Generate expansion strategies for existing customers; identify cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to plan approaches and build outbound pipelines.
  • Manage, track & report sales activities via Salesforce, Sales Navigator & 6

    Sense.
  • Travel for prospect presentations and workshops; coordinate with leadership support.
  • Facilitate warm handoff to implementation & customer teams after initial sale.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

  • Considerable B2B sales experience with proven quota achievement; software experience an asset.

  • Demonstrated outbound sales experience: proactive prospecting, cold outreach & outbound campaigns.
  • Skilled in crafting & executing sales plans; building account strategies & driving top‑of‑funnel activity.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: Canada – $85,000—$105,000 CAD; U.S. – $85,000—$105,000 USD.
Variable Pay: Eligible for Hootsuite’s Sales Compensation Program. Candidates who advance will receive further details during the interview process.
