About the Company / The OpportunityJoin a leading firm specializing in commercial and industrial facility systems and service solutions. This is a dynamic opportunity for a motivated Service Sales Engineer to drive sales growth, manage impactful projects, and establish strong client partnerships in the greater Seattle area. You’ll play a vital role managing the sales process from initiation to completion, directly influencing the success of both clients and the business.
Responsibilities- Identify, sell, and negotiate repair services for commercial and industrial facility systems.
- Prepare and deliver effective sales proposals to both new and existing customers for profitable outcomes.
- Develop new client relationships through proactive prospecting activities.
- Manage all phases of assigned projects from inception to close out, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Document and follow up on leads and referrals to nurture business opportunities.
- Resolve issues proactively, offering information and advice as needed to customers.
- Form in-depth, long-term partnerships with clients, anticipating and responding to their needs.
- Review contracts and collaborate with in-house Engineers and field personnel on projects.
- Keep management informed about market conditions and trends affecting the construction industry.
- 2+ years of experience with plumbing estimation and commercial projects in a customer facing role
- Practical understanding of plumbing systems and service sales within commercial or industrial settings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from sales through to close out.
- Successful track record in sales, client prospecting, and relationship building.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and departments.
- Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to set and consistently achieve targets and deadlines.
- Experience partnering with in-house engineers for technical validations and project reviews.
- Familiarity with contract review and compliance within construction or facility service sales.
- Background in commission-based sales roles in related industries.
- Strong adaptability and willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
- Previous experience directing or coordinating field personnel on site.
