Business Development Manager

A well-established global logistics provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across Air and Ocean freight within the Pacific Northwest, with a strong focus on key US and Trans-Pacific trade lanes.

This is a senior, consultative sales role suited to a relationship-driven freight professional who enjoys developing long-term partnerships and delivering tailored, end-to-end supply chain solutions rather than transactional selling.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across Air & Ocean freight services throughout the Seattle and wider Pacific Northwest region
• Build and grow long-term customer relationships across key industry verticals
• Develop strategic account plans and expand wallet share within existing accounts
• Partner closely with pricing, operations, and procurement teams to deliver competitive, solution-led proposals
• Manage complex sales cycles and negotiate commercial agreements
• Represent the business professionally within the Seattle market and West Coast region

About You

• Proven success in freight forwarding business development
• Strong exposure to Air freight and Ocean freight (both import & export)
• Consultative, solutions-led sales approach with a relationship-first mindset
• Comfortable managing mid-to-large accounts and longer sales cycles
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of US trade lanes, especially Trans-Pacific and West Coast routes
• Based in, or able to comfortably commute to, Seattle, WA
