Order Entry Specialist

Skills Alliance is exclusively partnered with a Seattle-based, single cell sequencing startup that is looking to bring on a Data Entry Specialist to assist with order entry.

As a Temporary Order Entry Specialist
, you will be contributing to our Client's Sales Operations team by entering orders into Net Suite. It will be one month of work, possibly a bit longer. This position is expected to start in early March and last to early/mid April.
Interviews will be this week on 2/20 and next week on 2/23 and 2/24. Regular working hours are 9:00AM - 5:30PM.

• Gather and verify customer intake data such as legal entity name, contact information, shipping and billing addresses, and relevant tax information.
• Reference quotes to ensure pricing is correct as well as inform the appropriate sales representative of new orders.
• Enter sales and purchase orders into the business system in a timely manner and with a keen eye for accuracy of information entered.
• Validate data of each transaction and record creation for completeness and accuracy.

• High School Diploma (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
• Must be able to work with Excel, Google Suite, ideally Net Suite or another order/ERP system (1+ year of experience using Net Suite or similar ERP system preferred)
• Demonstrated proficiency in standard productivity tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High attention to detail and proven ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• Must be able to follow all COVID-19 risk reduction and risk mitigation guidelines as provided by federal, state, and local governments, building management, and the Company.
• Standing for extended periods, and occasionally carrying and/or lifting up to 30 pounds is required.

Pay Range is $23.00 - $25.00/hour, depending on experience. Some OT at 1.5x regular hourly rate is possible, but not guaranteed.
