Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in advertising sales, digital marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Experience in people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to engage with clients in the region.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing and developing sales teams to deliver results.
  • Experience influencing executive‑level clients and stakeholders and driving results in agile environments.
  • Experience in sales and operations management, planning, and systems thinking, with the ability to align strategies and deliver customer business outcomes.
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Solutions, video advertising (e.g., AI‑powered Performance, CTV, AI‑powered Video) and the key performer landscape across traditional and digital brand media advertising.
  • Knowledge of customer business objectives, with the ability to develop joint business plans in ambiguous environments.

As the Head of Industry, you will lead and support a team focused on a small set of automotive advertisers. Your responsibilities include inspiring the team with engaging goals for how they can identify client business issues in order to deliver value to customers. You will run the day‑to‑day operations for the team by setting goals and helping the team to clear roadblocks.

You will collaborate with fellow managers, partner with sales leadership to set vertical‑wide objectives, and build relationships across the Google network. You will build the business and develop a reputation for thought leadership and industry change while demonstrating how Google products can enhance and transform businesses.

Google’s Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world’s leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, You Tube, Measurement, and more.

As a member of our LCS team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market‑shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Compensation

US base salary range for this full‑time position is $202,000–$281,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
