Hydraulic Industries Inc. is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside OEM Sales Representative to support and grow relationships with New Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing technical sales support, preparing quotations, managing orders, and coordinating with engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate combines strong communication and organizational skills with a technical aptitude and a passion for building long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new OEM customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and technical specifications.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and sales opportunities.
- Process customer orders accurately and coordinate order fulfillment with internal departments.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
- Identify opportunities for product expansion, cross-selling, and account growth.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with sales reporting, market research, and business development initiatives.
- Stay informed on company products, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
- 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, account management, or industrial sales experience.
- Experience working with OEM customers, hydraulic systems, fluid power products, or industrial equipment is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to customer support.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Occasional travel for customer visits, training, or industry events may be required.
