Strategic Account Manager – Pacific West
LocationLos Angeles, CA (remote/field)
OverviewThe Strategic Account Management organization is a forward‑thinking sales team serving Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers, including Health Systems, IHNs, Medical Groups, PBGs, FQHCs and state Awardees.
Responsibilities- Lead assigned strategic accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross‑functional team members.
- Create and execute a strategic account plan to drive value co‑creation and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with external stakeholders and align internal resources.
- Develop deep understanding of customers’ business models, strategic goals and industry dynamics.
- Identify high‑value opportunities and work with customers to develop growth strategies.
- Facilitate business coaching and strategy sessions with account teams.
- Act as the focal point for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation and customer engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of field sales or account management experience.
- Broad understanding of health system business and decision‑making processes.
- Proven ability to access C‑suite to D‑suite decision makers.
- Capability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Self‑directed, organized with excellent execution and planning skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Strong data analytics experience.
- Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting or Finance.
- Proficient with MS Office and customer management databases.
- Experience leading teams with impact and influence with key internal stakeholders.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to customers, conventions, training and internal meetings.
