Job Title

Strategic Account Manager – Pacific West

Location

Los Angeles, CA (remote/field)

Overview

The Strategic Account Management organization is a forward‑thinking sales team serving Sanofi’s largest and most complex customers, including Health Systems, IHNs, Medical Groups, PBGs, FQHCs and state Awardees.

Responsibilities
  • Lead assigned strategic accounts, providing overall account leadership to cross‑functional team members.
  • Create and execute a strategic account plan to drive value co‑creation and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with external stakeholders and align internal resources.
  • Develop deep understanding of customers’ business models, strategic goals and industry dynamics.
  • Identify high‑value opportunities and work with customers to develop growth strategies.
  • Facilitate business coaching and strategy sessions with account teams.
  • Act as the focal point for account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation and customer engagement.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of field sales or account management experience.
  • Broad understanding of health system business and decision‑making processes.
  • Proven ability to access C‑suite to D‑suite decision makers.
  • Capability to translate market knowledge into strategic plans.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Self‑directed, organized with excellent execution and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Strong data analytics experience.
  • Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting or Finance.
  • Proficient with MS Office and customer management databases.
  • Experience leading teams with impact and influence with key internal stakeholders.
Travel

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time to customers, conventions, training and internal meetings.
