Position: Brand Ambassador / Activation Manager, L43 - Rio, Brazil

The Activation Manager role represents a strategic transformation in how Zamora Company approaches the market. Moving beyond traditional brand advocacy, this position serves as a strategic partner to both On-Trade and Off-Trade channels, with a clear focus on driving sell-out, ensuring flawless execution of our brands across all touchpoints, and delivering measurable return on investment in the Rio region.

With a strong entrepreneurial mindset, this individual will spend the majority of their time in-market, working hands‑on to elevate execution. They will lead the adoption of the AVQPAP model (Availability, Visibility, Quality, Price, Activation, Promotion) to bring the Picture of Success to life. Partnering closely with distributor sales teams and key customers, they will identify opportunities, close executional gaps, and build long‑term, value‑driven relationships across São Paulo and the broader Southeast region.

This role is critical to advancing Zamora's ambition of building a best‑in‑class route-to-market and execution model in Brazil.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Field Execution & Market Presence
  • Be present in the market on a daily basis, visiting On Trade, Off Trade and Key Accounts, ensuring the correct execution of Zamora’s brands.
  • Accompany the distributor's team in top accounts to guarantee strategic alignment.
  • Monitor and master the AVQPAP execution standards (Availability, Visibility, Quality of Display, Price, Activation, Promotion) across the territory.
  • Identify execution gaps and immediately work with distributors and outlets to correct them.
  • Ensure all points of sale are aligned with Zamora’s brand positioning and premium image.
Distributor & Sales Team Development
  • Work hand in hand with distributor sales teams, acting as a field coach and execution driver to generate sell out.
  • Support sales reps during visits, helping them to sell, place, activate and upgrade Zamora brands.
  • Train distributor and customers’ sales forces on ZC Brands (brand building and story‑selling)
Trade Marketing & Activation
  • Design and execute point‑of‑sale activation plans tailored to Rio’s On & Off Trade reality.
  • Implement national and regional brand programs in the field, ensuring perfect execution at store level.
  • Lead tastings, bartender activations, menu placements, cocktail programs and in‑store promotions.
  • Be responsible for the quality of execution of key platforms like L43 Puro, Carajillo and Limão.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Detection
  • Act as Zamora’s market radar in Rio.
  • Identify trends, new hot spots, key bartenders, emerging venues and new retail opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, promotions and visibility.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Area Director and Marketing Team with actionable insights.
Relationship Building
  • Build strong and trusted relationships with:
    • Distributor management and sales teams
    • Bartenders, bar managers, store owners and buyers
    • Key influencers
  • Become a recognized Zamora representative in the Rio trade.
  • Develop mid- and long‑term partnerships that secure Zamora’s presence in priority accounts.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • KPIs will be measured in 4 pillars:
    • Business (eg. volume sold on On trade Channel)
    • Commercial Execution (# stores with perfect execution)
    • Promotion (eg, number of trainings)
    • Digital (Eg. reports/ community built)
  • Provide structured reports with photos, insights and recommendations.
  • Help to ensure activities and investments are properly documented and evaluated.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Activation, Sales or Brand Ambassador roles, ideally in the alcoholic beverages industry.
  • Having worked with distributors is a plus
  • Deep understanding of On-Trade and Off-Trade dynamics in Rio, with a strong “in‑market” mindset and passion for being close to the consumer (bars, restaurants, clubs, and retail).
  • Good understanding of On Trade & Off Trade dynamics in Rio.
  • Strong ability to execute and drive others to execute.
  • Proven ability to execute with excellence and influence others to deliver against high standards in the field.
