Simphonic is seeking an experienced, strategic, and outcome-driven Director of Sales to close deals and build further pipeline with the mobile operator community across a territory anchored around a tier 1 MNO. This person will own revenue growth, refine our go-to-market motion and deepen our presence in key markets, as part of Simphonic’s high-performance culture built around accountability and results.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B in the mobile ecosystem, building and closing sales opportunities, and driving predictable, repeatable revenue.
Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership & Strategy- Develop and own the company’s revenue strategy, including segmentation, forecasting, territory design, and GTM execution for certain target accounts.
- Operate under annual and quarterly sales targets aligned with company objectives. Collaborate with Head of Sales, Product and the CFO to achieve the revenue targets in the operating plan.
- Develop key customer relationships and joint Customer QBRs for major accounts.
- Own and optimize the end-to-end sales cycle in target accounts from lead qualification through close and expansion.
- Rapid qualification of deals using BANT methodology and advancement to negotiation phase.
- Drive rapid pipeline growth through outbound, inbound, partnerships, channels, and co-creation initiatives in target accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing on demand generation, campaign strategy, and messaging alignment for target accounts.
- Partner with Product and Customer Success to ensure feedback loops on product-market fit alignment and customer retention/expansion strategies.
- Leverage all Simphonic assets to close deals and expand the pipeline.
- Act as voice of the customer and ensure alignment between Simphonic products and customers’ stated outcomes and objectives.
- Develop and maintain accurate pipeline in CRM and assist with periodic board-level reporting.
- Leverage CRM and analytics tools to drive insights, improve forecasting accuracy, and inform decision-making.
- 8+ years of experience in B2B sales in the Mobile Operator community.
- Proven success achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar annual targets with significant Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
- Demonstrated ability to land and expand Simphonic business at target accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead key negotiations on customer opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the company to close complex deals and lead key negotiations.
- High competency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- IoT Solutions and SIM-based software solutions experience a plus.
- Healthy, growing pipeline with accurate forecasting and improved win rates at target accounts.
- Establishment of repeatable joint Customer QBRs.
- Strong alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
- Significant revenue growth and expansion within target accounts or verticals.
