We're hiring a Senior AE to own revenue from our largest accounts — top‑of‑funnel through close.
The RoleYou will own the full sales cycle for our strategic accounts: prospecting, discovery, technical evaluation, procurement, and close. Your buyers are VPs of Engineering, CTOs, and Heads of QA/Platform at companies shipping software at real scale.
This is an early sales hire. You will report to the founding team. You will have meaningful equity. The decisions you make in the first six months — ICP, motion, objection playbook, deal structure — will set the foundation for every salesperson we hire after you.
If you want a seat where your work compounds, this is one. If you want a polished, fully‑built sales org with a clean playbook handed to you, this is not the right seat.
What you'll do- Run the full cycle end‑to‑end on strategic accounts: outbound, discovery, technical demos, POC scoping, security review, procurement, close
- Run technical demos and lead engineering‑room conversations on your own — no SE in the room
- Build and execute account plans for named targets, including multi‑threaded outreach into engineering leadership
- Partner with engineering and product on POC scoping and translate customer signal into roadmap input
- Negotiate commercials, navigate SOC 2 and vendor onboarding, drive deals to signature
- Sharpen ICP, qualification, competitive positioning, and pricing as we learn what works
- 5+ years closing B2B SaaS, with a track record of multi‑stakeholder deals you personally drove from cold to signed
- You've sold into engineering leadership before. You can hold a conversation about CI/CD, API testing, MCP, or AI coding agents without bluffing
- You can run a technical demo solo and handle skeptical engineering questions without folding back to "I'll get my SE on the next call"
- Consistent quota attainment, and you can name the specific deals — company, ACV, deal cycle, what made it close — not just the percentage
- You write well. Crisp follow‑ups, clean recap emails, no filler
- You're comfortable with ambiguity and high autonomy. You don't need a fully built playbook to start producing
- You overlap with US working hours. Most of our buyers are US‑based
- Sold testing, QA, observability, or developer infrastructure products before
- Early‑stage startup experience (Series A or earlier)
- Existing network in engineering leadership at growth‑stage software companies
