Job Description

The Catering Sales Coordinator coordinates the entire cycle of a booked event from Seattle Convention Center (SCC) to Aramark and back to SCC. Contributes to all Aramark departments on behalf of the Catering Sales team to ensure the smooth delivery and success of an event. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Hourly rate: $26.00 to $32.00. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, work/life resources, 401(k) retirement plan, paid days off, parental leave, disability coverage. Benefits vary by location and are subject to legal requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Daily pick up and sorting of mail between the Sales office and Aramark Operations
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders with Purchaser, and verifying receipt of supplies
  • Maintain service order revisions process for the daily department change sheet
  • Maintain and keep current all sales documents, one‑sheets, menus as needed
  • Coordinate Internal Events Functions, inputting into Momentus and correspond with internal contacts; provide information and answer questions and requests
  • Maintain Momentus catering database, input new resources and menus as needed
  • Maintain Momentus price list with updates as needed
  • Prepare Precon Service Orders as directed by Catering Sales Managers
  • Maintain “Custom Menu” folders with updates to pricing and menu substitutions
  • Document event tasting photos with item name and upload to public drive
  • Book and block internal events in Momentus as needed
  • Assist Catering Sales Managers with exhibitor orders not handled by exhibitor services
  • Assist Catering Sales Managers with all ICW orders
  • Coordinate most retail only shows
  • Maximize revenue for assigned ICW and Exhibitor Orders through proposal based selling
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Maintain Catering needs of the Sales Office and Studio
Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. 2+ years administrative support experience. Sales and/or food service support experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail, organized, excellent time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication.

Ability to work quickly, independently, and efficiently.

Strong digital literacy in Excel, Outlook, Word and other Microsoft Office Suite or related programs as well as other databases and spreadsheet software.
