Responsibilities
- Actively sell to, manage, and train accounts.
- Support existing distribution and establish new distribution in the territory.
- Work with end-users and industry decision-makers on product features, benefits, listing requirements, and technical details.
- Align with cross‑functional teams to effectively manage the territory.
- Define a sales strategy and continuously assess market and distribution needs for Vehicle, Restaurant, Portable, and Industrial applications.
- Analyze new business opportunities and develop and execute sales plans to achieve growth objectives.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and facility owners to define product specifications and ensure 100% acceptance of products.
- Present products to customers to achieve value‑added proposition acceptance and close sales on mutually satisfactory terms.
- Develop annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans detailing concepts and actions for business growth.
- Collaborate with other sales teams to share marketing intelligence on product opportunities.
- Coordinate new and repeat sales through distribution to ensure 100% customer satisfaction with order fulfillment.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels to ensure account retention.
- Work cross‑functionally to support territory needs in terms of product, technical, customer service, and contract requirements for distribution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of sales experience in Fire Suppression, Fire Alarm, or Fire Protection industry (strongly preferred).
- 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Account Manager / Sales or industry experience.
- Experience using Salesforce to track and measure accounts.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present to large audiences.
- Strong leadership characteristics.
- Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
- Preferred experience managing external distribution.
- Strong technical aptitude, preferably in Fire Suppression Products.
Salary Range: $85,000 – $117,000 (adjusted for education, experience, skills, and market data). This role also offers a competitive Sales Incentive Plan based on volume, margin, quarterly, and annual performance.
