Position: Regional Sales Manager - Modular Central Plant (MCP) - West Region

Join the world’s largest HVAC company. The MCP Sales Manager – West Region (Modular Central Plant) will drive sales of large, complex bundled offerings to solution sales customers while promoting the Daikin Applied value proposition at a systemic level.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales of Daikin Applied modular solutions to building owners and owner representatives at the C-level.
  • Achieve optimal profit levels while balancing customer needs.
  • Provide value-based solutions to business and financial challenges.
  • Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements.
  • Create credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment with customers through financial and business acumen.
  • Differentiated services and products from competitors.
  • Ensure maximum value from dedicated resources.
  • Engage appropriate sales, legal and financial resources as needed.
  • Seek out, target and initiate contact with prospective customers.
  • Develop a network of contacts.
  • Leverage sales process checkpoints and secure small trial closes.
  • Qualify and assess potential customers.
  • Refer leads to other business segments.
  • Determine and implement selling strategy, proposal pricing, delivery estimates and scheduling.
  • Select, price and integrate equipment, controls and services for each project.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to quote prices, establish contract terms, secure financing and prepare sales contracts.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of relevant sales experience, including 4 years of direct or indirect people-leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineering License.

Compensation

Base salary range: $114,000 – $188,000 (outside listed states); $125,000 – $207,000 in Denver, CO; $137,000 – $226,000 in Seattle, WA and San Francisco, CA. Includes a sales incentive target of $42,000.

Location and Travel

Hybrid role with at least 50% regional travel. Ideally based near a Daikin Service Office in Seattle, Denver, San Francisco or Las Vegas.
