About the OpportunityWe are a well-established industrial distribution company seeking an Inside Sales / Account Manager to support a high-volume base of repeat B2B customers. This is a relationship-driven role focused on managing inbound demand, preparing quotes, and ensuring customers receive the right materials on time and to spec.
This is not a cold-calling role
—you’ll act as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them from initial request through order fulfillment and delivery.
- Competitive hourly pay: $28–$44/hour (depending on experience)

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
- Review customer requests and interpret drawings/blueprints to determine material needs
- Prepare quotes, confirm specifications, and process orders
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and delivery timelines
- Track orders from placement through shipment and delivery
Build strong relationships with repeat customers and provide ongoing support - Maintain accurate records in CRM and internal systems
- Partner with outside sales and leadership to support revenue goals
- 1–5+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management in an industrial, construction, or distribution environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings (highly preferred)
- Experience working with contractors, manufacturers, or industrial customers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders/projects simultaneously
- Comfortable discussing product specifications, dimensions, and materials
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general CRM/order entry systems
- Experience with metal, steel, or building materials
- Familiarity with fabrication processes (cutting, drilling, forming, etc.)
- Knowledge of industrial supply or construction materials
- 100% onsite role in either the Seattle or Spokane area
- Collaborative team environment with experienced leadership
- Fast-paced, detail-oriented workflow supporting real-world projects
- Inside sales reps in industrial or construction supply
- Customer service professionals supporting contractors or manufacturers
- Estimators or coordinators looking to move into a customer-facing role
- Candidates with technical aptitude who enjoy solving customer problems
