About the roleThe Platform Solutions Consultant role will help both internal and external stakeholders find value in the more technically complex aspects of the Rippling Platform, including building custom applications with no‑code tools, writing complex query logic in Rippling Query Language, and designing solutions using native workflows, existing integrations, and APIs.
Our Solutions Consultants focus on revenue generation, value‑driven presentations, and enabling prospective customers to realize the value of Rippling. Experience working in a pre‑sales capacity and with a configurable low‑code development platform is required. This role does not involve writing production code, but applicants should be able to understand, write, and test API calls as well as basic SQL.
You’ll join a diverse and exceptional team of Solutions Consulting professionals. Rippling SCs drive value for customers and enable a best‑in‑industry buying experience.
What you will do- Partner with the Sales team to ensure the success of prospects during their evaluation of Rippling
- Partner with other Solutions Consultants as an overlay expert on Rippling’s most advanced platform capabilities
- Understand a prospect’s technical requirements and convey the business value of Rippling’s Platform
- Manage and assist in technical demonstrations and POCs for prospects that address their unique business objectives
- Create, present, and maintain technical content such that customers are successful using the Rippling Platform
- Provide customer feedback to the Product and Engineering teams
- Become a product expert across the entire Rippling platform and understand the competitor landscape
- Work with your SC peers and SC leadership to build a best‑in‑class SC organization
- 4+ years of experience in a pre‑sales role with experience building modular platform POCs, demonstrations, and working with APIs using Postman or similar.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Self‑starter with a bias toward action, energized by a fast‑paced environment and excited to build.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

We highly value having employees working in‑office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. For office‑based employees who live within a 40‑mile radius of a Rippling office, working in the office at least three days a week is an essential function of the role.
Salary InformationCompetitive On‑Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On‑Target Earnings for US‑based employees will be a 75/25 commission split for base/variable pay. Salary ranges by location (US Tier 1/2):
- US Tier 1: $111,000 – $220,000 USD per year
- US Tier 2: $97,200 – $193,500 USD per year
- US (general): $105,000 – $210,000 USD per year
