ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO).
In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You’ll attend the award‑winning training program and join a sales team that works with new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, making employees’ lives better with high‑quality benefits offerings across the hire‑to‑retire spectrum. You will cultivate relationships with Human Resources and executive decision‑makers, set appointments, gather leads, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions.
You will manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, document them, and steward deals through implementation until the solutions are up and running.
Responsibilities
- Grow Our Business While Growing Yours – You will work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy.
- Turn Prospects into Loyal and Referring Clients – You will recommend the right solutions to help clients understand and solve their real business needs, earning referral business by networking with existing and prospective clients and forging partnerships.
- Deepen Relationships Across the ADP Family – In addition to cloud‑based human resources solutions, you will cross‑sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
- Collaborate Daily – You will serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the broader network while demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
- Positive Self‑Starter – Upbeat, persistent style; ability to cold call, manage time, prioritize, and multi‑task; present ideas clearly in writing, in‑person, and over the phone.
- Strategic Closer – Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales; impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
- Proven Winner – Ambitious spirit that thrives under pressure, motivating you to hit and exceed sales quotas.
A college degree is great but not required. Other acceptable experience includes: three years of business‑to‑business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results‑driven environment, or military experience that develops teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust‑building, and determination.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary offers may vary by location, skills, and experience. Potential for additional compensation via bonus, equity or commissions. Compensation range: USD $56,100 – USD $121,500 per year*
* Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary under federal, state, and local laws.
