Redwood Outdoors makes premium outdoor saunas and cold plunge tubs. We sell primarily online, and we're beginning to bring our products to life in person — starting with our Seattle showroom, which has been welcoming customers for close to a year, with more locations now opening nationwide.

This role is the showroom. You are the only on-site leader. HQ is in Kent, WA. You will run Seattle like it’s yours, owning the full customer experience, generating local demand, hitting a revenue number, and building the team beneath you. You’ll have full support from our marketing, operations, and inside sales teams, but the day-to-day is yours.

We're opening several more locations over the next eighteen months. The leaders who build this right will have room to grow with it.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

At 30 Days:
Full product knowledge. Running consultative demos independently. CRM updated daily. Floor operations dialed in.

At 60 Days:
First local partnership in motion — a fitness studio, wellness brand, or community group driving showroom traffic. Conversion baseline set.

At 90 Days:
Hitting or pacing to monthly revenue target. At least one community event planned or executed. First hire assessed if headcount is approved.

At 1 Year:
The showroom is a proven revenue engine, consistently hitting monthly targets. Local demand channels (partnerships, events, referrals) are generating measurable traffic beyond walk-ins. Your team is performing, developing, and winning because you built that culture from day one. You've earned your free sauna.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN
  • Own the Seattle Showroom revenue number, conversion rates, average transaction value, and monthly targets.
  • Run consultative, full-cycle sales from first visit through post-sale follow-up; no order-taking.
  • Maintain and work a pipeline, track every lead, every conversation, every close.
  • Align showroom sales strategy with the e-commerce and inside sales teams in Seattle.
  • Analyze showroom data weekly; surface trends, gaps, and opportunities to leadership.
Local Market Development
  • Build a local demand engine. This role is not passive; you prospect, you partner, and you show up in the community.
  • Identify and develop partnerships with fitness studios, wellness brands, athletic clubs, short-term rental (STR) hosts, resorts, and community organizations.
  • Plan and execute in-store events and activations to drive foot traffic and brand awareness.
  • Act as the face of Redwood Outdoors in the Seattle Showroom at community events, with local media, and across the wellness community.
  • Feed ground-level market intelligence back to the Seattle marketing team to sharpen campaigns and targeting.
Customer Experience
  • Guide every customer through a consultative, personalized buying experience, from first contact to delivery.
  • Develop deep product knowledge across the full sauna and cold plunge lineup.
  • Set and hold the standard for in-person engagement, response time, and follow-up.
  • Handle escalated customer issues with ownership.
Team & Operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop showroom staff as the team grows; conduct 1:1s and performance reviews.
  • Lead hiring for sales roles at the Seattle location; own onboarding and training programs.
  • Manage daily operations: scheduling, opening/closing, showroom standards, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with operations and warehouse on order fulfillment and delivery logistics.
  • Keep the floor visually sharp and always aligned to brand standards.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of retail or showroom leadership with documented revenue ownership.
  • Consultative, relationship-driven sales experience with high-consideration or large-ticket purchases (AOV greater than $10K preferred).
  • Proven ability to generate your own pipeline, not just manage inbound traffic.
  • Experience running a location independently; you don’t need a manager on-site to perform.
  • CRM discipline; you track your pipeline, you don’t wing it.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you’re representing the brand to customers, partners, and remote leadership.
  • Background in luxury, wellness, fitness, outdoor, or premium home products.
  • Experience developing local market partnerships or executing in-market events.
