Events Sales Executive
In the role of Events Sales Executive, you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive sales management, as well as all operational duties for groups and events (accommodations and Food & Beverage functions alike). You will serve as an essential bridge between sales and operations, ensuring seamless collaboration and flawless execution of all events, with a focus on driving revenue through on-property sales opportunities.
This position will allow you to sell and operate upscale groups and events, providing in-depth information and excellent knowledge of the territory and hotel operations, ensuring business continuity and a 360° customer service approach.
Primary
Responsibilities Include:
- Sales and Lead Management:
Promptly respond to event and group inquiries (excluding accommodation or up to 6 rooms), creating detailed proposals, negotiating with clients, and implementing follow-up strategies. Collaborate with SESO and the Hotel Team for site inspections and group accommodation management. Support the PST Team and SESO in on-property sales initiatives, including familiarization trips. - Tailored Proposals and Upselling:
Create customized event proposals (non-accommodation related) that highlight upselling opportunities through premium packages, additional services (catering, decorations, audiovisual), and exclusive experiences. Identify and promote value-added services to maximize revenue per event. - Operational
Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure all event details, from logistics to setup, are effectively communicated and flawlessly executed. Organize pre-con meetings and support all operational teams. Establish a feedback loop with the SESO Director, Hotel GMs, and Operations to refine sales strategies and event delivery, aligning with our hotels' positioning and ambition plan. - Performance Analysis:
Monitor and analyze event-related revenue metrics, client satisfaction, and key stakeholder relationships to assess the effectiveness of strategies.
