Business Development Manager – Delhi

We’re currently looking for a Business Development Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This position sits within the Employer Relationships team. This role is based in Delhi.
Responsibilities- Contributes to the development of the business development plan for the market, ensuring that it reflects employer needs and market conditions
- Identifies and progresses opportunities to grow ACCA’s business through employer partnerships ensuring a clear and mutually beneficial proposition
- Using agreed criteria, identifies target employers based on an understanding of potential contribution
- Works with relevant internal stakeholders to develop and deliver a plan of business development activity for designated employers
- Develops and manages strong partnerships with employers in order to build ACCA’s brand and reputation, deepen our engagement and further ACCA’s strategic and growth objectives
- Plans and manages multi-level relationships and actively manages the sales pipeline for all designated employers
- Develops new and existing revenue streams with employers in order to maximise opportunities and grow ACCA’s business
- Works with partners to ensure that global solutions, content and expertise are leveraged and consistently implemented
- Concludes agreements with employers for commercial relationships that deliver against KPIs and targets
- Promotes the ACCA qualification, products and services to employers, encouraging take-up through presentations and other sales activities
- Communicates changes to the ACCA qualification, products and services to employers in order to build advocacy
- Ensures employers are supported with ACCA processes including accreditation in order to develop engagement and improve performance
- Demonstrable experience in business development and business-to-business selling, ideally in a professional service or education environment
- Knowledge of business development frameworks, processes and techniques
- Understanding of accountancy and local regulatory frameworks is desirable
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships up to and including board level
- Skilled networker and prospector with strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Highly motivated, proactive and enthusiastic
- Able to plan, manage and work on own initiative to deliver results within strict deadlines and agreed budgets
- Commercially orientated and results driven with a track record of successful delivery
