Market Manager — Travel Partnerships & Advertising
We are seeking a Market Manager to develop and maintain a high‑quality portfolio of hotel and property products that serve our global traveler base. You will partner with lodging partners to maximize production potential, improve traveler conversion, and unlock the full marketplace value.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and sustain strong hotel partnerships in a strategic territory by providing data insights and high‑quality, needs‑based consulting services, including revenue management advice and marketplace growth opportunities.
- Ensure partner properties are consistently optimized across Expedia Group sites through strong content, rates and availability, while securing additional inventory during high‑demand periods.
- Drive partner engagement with Expedia Group’s tools, insights and solutions, including partner reports, competitive data, Rev+, marketing and merchandising opportunities, specialized brands and Expedia Partner Central.
- Represent Expedia Group in your market and build relationships with key local influencers while collaborating across internal teams.
- Coach colleagues and peers on best‑practice and workflow methodologies, contribute to internal projects and continually build your own skills and influence.
- Execute effectively against KPI metrics, promote self‑service, support hotel partners in delivering the best traveler experience and travel for partner visits approximately 20‑30% of the time.
- 2+years of experience in account management, partner or client success, consultative sales or related field.
- Proficient in English with clear and persuasive communication skills.
- Passionate about travel and able to work autonomously and collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Proficient in using data, market trends, partner performance insights and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills; ability to earn confidence and demonstrate the value of partnering with Expedia Group.
- Growth mindset, strong prioritization and multitasking skills, resilience to drive results against team goals.
- Commercial thinking combined with a consultative approach; motivated by helping partners grow.
- Curiosity about innovative technology and adaptability to a dynamic business environment.
- Balance partner advocacy with marketplace goals and translate insights into practical actions.
- Build strong, collaborative partnerships internally and externally through trust, consistency and mutual support.
- Use feedback to improve continuously and stay focused on meaningful outcomes.
Base salary range: $94,000 – $131,500 (Seattle) with potential to increase up to $150,500 plus incentive plan earnings above target.
