Responsibilities
- Follow‑up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities, providing appropriate information at the right time for interested prospects.
- Educate and develop prospects leading to a hand‑off to sales teams.
- Leverage target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts.
- Engage in various means of cold outreach into prospects generated by a variety of sources including phone, email, marketing, and specific pieces of content.
- Identify key players, research and obtain business requirements, and communicate our value proposition to begin the sales cycle.
- Profile strategic accounts by identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements, and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle.
- Set appointments for the sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage.
- Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a field sales representative.
- Drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, and set meetings for conferences.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on a strategic sales approach.
- Maintain accurate activity and lead‑qualification information in the CRM application to ensure successful follow‑through of the sales cycle.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience with CRM applications preferred.
- Additional education, certifications or other distinctions are a plus.
- Proficient in desktop tools including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated success in prospecting preferred.
- Experience collecting and analyzing raw data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and other useful information.
- Awareness of trends in the fleet industry as well as new products, services, and technologies.
- Self‑motivated with a diligent work ethic, high integrity, and strong commitment to success.
- Excellent time‑management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high‑paced work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Competitive wages commensurate with experience and location, in the range of $60,800.00 – $86,640.00 USD annually for full‑time employees.
