Overview
We are seeking an Account Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for multifamily property owners, management companies, developers, and contractors participating in a utility-sponsored energy efficiency rebate program across Western Washington. The role involves identifying energy‑saving opportunities, promoting available rebates and incentives, managing project pipelines, and supporting customers through the successful implementation of energy efficiency projects.
Responsibilities- Manage and grow a portfolio of multifamily customer accounts while identifying and developing new program opportunities.
- Serve as the local program representative and primary point of contact for customers and trade allies across the service territory, from Blaine down to Olympia.
- Drive program participation and customer engagement through proactive outreach, relationship building, and education.
- Develop and deliver customer proposals and recommendations that support energy savings and program objectives.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of energy efficiency projects to achieve participation and energy savings goals.
- Schedule and conduct day-to-day customer visits and contractor engagement, setting your own routes and calendar.
- Effectively manage complex projects from inception through completion.
- 5‑8 years of relevant industry experience in energy efficiency, construction, or retrofitting, including work with heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, insulation, or weatherization.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with customers and contractors.
- Consistently meet or exceed participation and energy savings goals.
- Experience in a sales‑oriented approach is a plus; prior sales experience is not required.
- People management experience is a plus.
- Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED Green Associate, or BPI certification are desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly throughout Western Washington for customer meetings, site visits, and contractor engagement.
- Overnight travel is rare, typically no more than once a month or every other month.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant industry experience may substitute for formal education.

Base salary $90,000 per year. Salary range $88,500.00 – $ USD.
