Account Manager – Strategic Games

AWS is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support a strategic customer and recognized market leader in the game industry. The role is based in the Bay Area and requires occasional onsite visits. The customer operates across game development, distribution, and player engagement, requiring technical depth and scale.

• Build a competitive growth plan based on customer outcomes
• Establish strong multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders across product, engineering, and executive functions
• Partner with AWS technical and non-technical resources
• Produce Salesforce & Anaplan forecasts
• Deliver monthly business reports
• Author annual account plans

• 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives

• 5+ years building profitable partner ecosystems
• Professional experience with the video game industry and its ecosystem of companies
• Background working with companies in gaming, consumer apps, or digital media
• Familiarity with AI and ML technologies and their use in real-time or player-centric applications
• Experience managing long-cycle opportunities with incremental growth
• Passion for games and appreciation for the creative and technical effort behind them

Base salary ranges depend on location:
CA, Irvine: $–$ USD annually
CA, San Francisco: $–$ USD annually
CA, Santa Monica: $–$ USD annually
WA, Seattle: $–$ USD annually
