- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in referral partner and/or channel partner management roles (e.g., Referral Partner Manager, Channel Partnerships Manager), with a proven track record of acquiring, onboarding, and growing revenue-generating partnerships.
- Ability and willingness to travel to 2 to 3 industry conferences or events per quarter.
- Direct experience working in the healthcare, wellness, medical, or SaaS industries is a huge plus.
Gene Metrics is hiring a Referral Partner / Channel Partner Manager to lead the development and expansion of our strategic partner network. This is a high-impact role responsible for acquiring, activating, and managing a portfolio of referral and channel partners across the healthcare and wellness space.
As a key member of our growth team, you will identify and onboard new partners, co-develop revenue-generating initiatives, and build long-term relationships that drive consistent referral activity. You will own the full partnership lifecycle — from outreach and onboarding to co-marketing, engagement, and performance reporting.
This position is ideal for someone with direct experience in referral or channel partnership development who is both a strategist and an executor — and who thrives in dynamic, mission-driven environments.
Core Responsibilities- Acquire new referral and channel partners through outreach, events, and professional networks
- Build strong partner relationships through regular check-ins and shared growth planning
- Travel to 2 to 3 industry events per quarter to network and represent the brand
- Guide new partners through onboarding and optimize our internal SOPs and workflows
- Deliver measurable revenue through active referral programs and ongoing activation
- Co-create webinars, campaigns, and co-branded content with strategic partners
- Monitor partner engagement through CRM tools and act on drop-off signals
- Report on key metrics including lead volume, conversions, and quarterly performance
- Provide partners with sales materials, training sessions, and marketing templates
- Analyze competitor partner programs and industry trends to inform ongoing strategy
- 3+ years in referral partner and/or channel partner management roles
- Proven track record acquiring, onboarding, and growing revenue-driving partnerships
- Experience working in healthcare, wellness, medical tech, or SaaS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with consultative presence
- Proactive, organized, and comfortable managing systems without micromanagement
- Familiar with CRM systems like Hub Spot or Salesforce
- Willing and able to travel regularly for partner and industry engagement
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance, process, and value creation
