Summary
The Account Executive, Prestige for Seattle is a territory-facing sales leader responsible for growing premium beauty brands across major retailers in Washington. This role focuses on building strong retail partnerships, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional in-store brand representation through coaching and localized activations. The position requires frequent travel and collaboration with internal teams to execute merchandising, training, and promotional strategies.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet and exceed financial targets across key accounts.
- Analyze sales trends and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
- Oversee store-level performance by ensuring appropriate staffing, merchandising, and in-store activations.
- Manage budgets and allocate spend strategically for each account in line with company guidelines.
- Plan and lead in-store events and tailored promotions to drive traffic and brand awareness.
- Design and implement local training initiatives and provide hands‑on coaching to Beauty Advisors and Makeup Artists.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Store Design to maintain consistent and impactful brand presentation.
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and development of in-store talent to strengthen retail teams and grow brand presence.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in beauty, fashion, or luxury retail supporting department store or beauty specialty accounts.
- Proven experience supporting in-store teams through product education, selling support, and brand storytelling.
- Ability to review sales reports, identify opportunities, and implement action plans to drive growth.
- Strong communication, relationship-building skills, and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Flexible availability for a Tuesday–Saturday schedule, weekends, and key holidays as required.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel up to 70-80%, including overnight travel.
