Job OverviewSynology America Corp is looking for highly proactive and dynamic Account Managers for multiple departments in their North America sales team. All AMs will share common responsibilities centered around growing Synology’s business through product evangelism, educating existing accounts, and proactively seeking out and starting conversations with new accounts. This is not a commissioned based role. Success will be measured by quantity and quality of reciprocated engagement.
Responsibilities- Become a subject matter expert on Synology hardware and software
- Search for opportunities where Synology can deliver value, engage prospects, and tactfully position a solution
- Demonstrate Synology software to an audience
- Design and specify deployments for accounts individually
- Plan, execute, present and follow up on virtual and in-person events across the US and Canada
- Advocate for business users and resellers to internal design teams, helping steer product development
- Represent Synology to the channel and its customers, providing general product training and guidance on individual deployments (Reseller Channel Team)

- Build relationships with current customers, identify potential new customers, determine key needs, and provide solutions to end users (Business Development)
- US work authorization (required)
- Associate’s Degree from a two‑year college (required);
Bachelor’s Degree preferred - Two years of relevant outbound sales calling or account management experience
- Firm understanding of computer hardware components and a basic understanding of NAS
- Ability to manage time and projects with minimal oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience using Salesforce
- Basic knowledge of cloud and on‑premises storage technologies

Full-time
Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
Travel:
Up to 1 week per month within continental United States or Canada; up to 25% travel
