Job Overview

Math Co is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven, and results-oriented Associate Principal, Business Development to join our Growth team in Seattle, Washington.

This is an on-site, field-based role requiring regular engagement with enterprise clients, industry stakeholders, and regional partners across the Pacific Northwest.

In this role, you will take ownership of one of Math Co's strategic consulting and AI accounts, driving growth through relationship building, opportunity creation, market intelligence, and commercial leadership. You will serve as Math Co's primary representative in the region, working closely with account leadership, solutioning teams, and delivery partners to expand our presence and deepen client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in enterprise sales, consulting services, analytics, AI, or technology partnerships, along with a proven ability to build and grow strategic accounts within large enterprise environments.

What You'll Do Account Ownership & Growth
  • Own a strategic consulting and AI account, taking full responsibility for account growth, client engagement, opportunity development, and commercial success.
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive stakeholder engagement, opportunity creation, pipeline development, and closed bookings.
  • Develop and execute account plans that identify growth opportunities, priority stakeholders, and market expansion strategies.
  • Coordinate internal solution experts, delivery leaders, and executive stakeholders to maximize client impact and business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with delivery teams to ensure successful engagements translate into renewals, referrals, and expansion opportunities.
Regional Presence & Relationship Building
  • Represent Math Co across the Seattle and Pacific Northwest market, building awareness, credibility, and trust with enterprise stakeholders.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of in-person client meetings, industry events, executive briefings, and networking engagements.
  • Develop relationships across business, analytics, technology, and procurement organizations within target accounts.
  • Manage executive visits, client workshops, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for key client stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain detailed stakeholder maps, organizational charts, buying-center analyses, and relationship plans.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client priorities, operating models, budgets, decision-making structures, and business objectives.
  • Build external networks that provide insight into target organizations, industries, and competitive landscapes.
  • Gather and synthesize competitive intelligence related to incumbent vendors, strategic initiatives, and market opportunities.
  • Translate market insights into actionable account strategies, opportunity plans, and differentiated client positioning.
Enterprise Sales & Opportunity Management
  • Navigate complex enterprise procurement processes, supplier programs, contracting requirements, and compliance reviews.
  • Design and execute targeted outreach strategies that generate qualified meetings and opportunities.
  • Lead opportunity qualification, solution shaping, pricing coordination, and proposal development activities.
  • Drive opportunities through the sales lifecycle by maintaining clear next steps, stakeholder alignment, and disciplined execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and leadership reporting.
Global Collaboration & Operational Excellence
