The Account Manager provides customer support, working alongside several departments to deliver outstanding service to customers. The Account Manager supports projects pre-sale and assists post-sale; depending on project complexity ranging from weeks to several months.

• Actively works with estimating, project management, sales support, inside sales and accounting to facilitate all project stages.
• Supports customers by providing customer service and technical assistance.
• Communicate with customers in a high-volume environment via phone, email and in person.
• Required to make weekly customer visits to foster a relationship, follow-up quotes and to support new project development. This includes technical presentations and marketing events.
• Manage accounts of any size to support the business. Including supporting house account requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Travel for customer factory visits, industry events and factory training
• Work with in-house engineering and the customer to promote products for basis of design.
• Prebid research – for new projects, research if it’s a re-bid or same project/opportunity. Set up project opportunities in the appropriate system.
• Understand product market pricing. Collect customer bid feedback and enter into CRM.
• Provide budget pricing based on a narrative and design development stages.
• Finalizing estimates through pre-bid reviews.
• Accurately perform product takeoff without needing manager or peer assistance.
• Capable of preparing submittals and orders using manufacturer databases and Dorse software packages. Manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Work with Project Managers to review and track open orders, providing updates to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Perform customer credit review and gather information for material man filing.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations; however, such duties will be reasonable, job-related, and consistent with the scope, level, and classification of the position.

• Under 1/3 of the time, employee will be working near moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places and around fumes or airborne particles.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate while in the office and loud while working in the warehouse.
