Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy goals
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, group, leisure, and local market segments
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, community partners, and key stakeholders
Conduct sales calls, presentations, site tours, and networking activities
Negotiate contracts and secure group, meeting, and event business
Collaborate with revenue management and hotel leadership to maximize profitability
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses
Manage and maintain client accounts to ensure long-term business relationships
Represent the hotel and company at industry events, trade shows, and community functions
What We Are Looking For We are seeking candidates who are:
Experienced in hospitality sales and business development
Strong relationship builders with excellent communication skills
Results-oriented and motivated by achieving goals
Strategic thinkers with strong organizational abilities
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with leadership teams
Professional, dependable, and guest-focused
Preferred Qualifications At least 3 years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, or business development experience
Previous Director of Sales, Sales Manager, or similar leadership experience preferred
Experience with group sales, corporate accounts, and contract negotiations
Knowledge of hotel revenue management principles and sales systems
Experience using CRM and hotel sales software platforms
Physical Requirements - Essential Job Functions This role requires candidates to:
Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
Travel locally as needed for client meetings, networking events, and sales activities
Frequently use computers, phones, and other office equipment
Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds of marketing materials and event supplies
Maintain flexibility to attend evening, weekend, and community events as business needs require
