Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the client's waste lead regarding waste transportation scheduling and coordination.
- Conduct waste sampling efforts in accordance with applicable safety and environmental standards.
- Log waste shipment data in Evergreen tracking solutions, ensuring records are complete and up-to-date.
- Communicate and coordinate with disposal facilities regarding waste profiles, acceptance, manifesting, and transportation logistics.
- Periodically audit waste bins, accumulation areas, and disposal locations to verify proper labeling, storage, and segregation.
- Assist with documentation related to regulatory compliance, waste profiling, and manifesting.
- Identify and report non-compliance issues or discrepancies related to waste handling and storage.
- Support waste program improvements and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Participate in training and safety meetings related to hazardous materials and waste handling procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Capable of working in outdoor and industrial environments as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree in environmental science, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license
