Research Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a People Research Scientist People to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a life sciences environment.

Location:

Seattle, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $285,000 – $380,000 annually

• Design and execute systematic research on employee experience and organizational health
• Generate hypotheses and test them using experimental methods
• Conduct longitudinal studies to understand workforce trends
• Perform meta-analyses to identify best practices in people interventions
• Design and analyze employee engagement surveys for actionable insights
• Research manager effectiveness and its impact on teams
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate research findings to leaders

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field like I/O Psychology or Behavioral Science
• Experience with experimental design, hypothesis testing, and longitudinal study methods
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis
• Familiarity with survey design and psychometric validation
• Strong communication skills for influencing stakeholders
• Ability to navigate sensitive research topics with analytical rigor
• Track record of using data to drive organizational changes
