Apex is seeking to add an Industrial Hygienist to our dynamic team in Seattle, Washington. The compensation for this role is $28-35 hourly, full time, with benefits, 75% in field / 25% in office.

The role is field-intensive and supports a broad range of projects located in the Puget Sound Region. These projects reflect Apex's core practices in industrial hygiene/health and safety, environmental compliance, indoor air quality, and contaminated site assessments.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Health & Safety or related field and 0-3+ years of experience in Industrial hygiene, health and safety or a closely related field. Able to function in a collaborative team environment, while also being able to operate independently Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills technical field aptitude, including critical thinking, planning, execution, and field documentation A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest Preferred Qualifications: AHERA Asbestos Inspector certification AHERA Project Designer Job Responsibilities: Hazardous building materials inspections and sampling Project code compliance monitoring and oversight for hazardous material abatement projects Indoor air quality evaluations Technical report preparation General project administrative duties Why you'll love working with us: Medical, dental and vision plan options.
