Lab Aide (Part-Time

Job Title

Perform routine work in a clinical or research laboratory. The incumbent works under the close supervision of the Lab Manager or other lab personnel.

Prepare media and reagents, such as stock solutions. Rinse and prepare glassware for cleaning. Deliver glassware to storage areas. Maintain clean and orderly laboratory area. Clean and maintain lab equipment. May check and replenish supplies. May assist with experiments and set-up. Perform simple, routine and repetitive laboratory tests and procedures as directed. Perform clerical duties as required. Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent with an interest in the sciences.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Some lab experience and/or college level chemistry courses.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $21.30 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
