Security Officer – Flex Patrol in Seattle, WA

As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more:  As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will perform routine patrols and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues observed during patrols.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with directions and general information about the location as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help deter potential disturbances and promote a secure environment.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any incidents or concerns encountered during patrols.

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
