As a Security Officer – Government Patrol Division in Seattle, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual circumstances.

• Observe and report any suspicious persons, activities, or hazards encountered during patrols or while on post.

• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific protocols.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and the public while representing Allied Universal at the location.

• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.

• Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with local authorities or emergency services when necessary.

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• Handcuffing certification is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
