** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing people as needed, and communicate with local contacts and/or public agencies regarding security-related matters.

+ Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions, and/or assist with follow-up actions in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Baton certification is preferred.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
