Security Officer Access Control Agent

Overview

As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.16 per hour

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or security‑related concerns.
• Support screening and checkpoint operations by following post orders, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting maintenance, procedural, and/or security‑related issues to site leadership.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
