Overview
As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security‑related operations with professionalism and strong communication. In this role, you will remain visible, assist with routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service.

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $22.16 per hour
Job Schedule- Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify badges and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and/or security‑related concerns.
- Support screening and checkpoint operations by following post orders, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting maintenance, procedural, and/or security‑related issues to site leadership.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
