As a Security Officer Mobile Rover in Seattle, WA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events.
  • Complete required logs, incident reports, and other assigned documentation, and follow post orders and communication protocols related to daily operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
