, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site‑specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document security‑related observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, high‑traffic areas, and/or loading zones for unusual activity, assist with crowd and line management during busy periods, and communicate with site contacts regarding security‑related issues.

• Security‑related experience of 6+ months is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
